The role involves rooming patients, assisting providers with exams and in-office procedures, and managing patient phone triage. Additional duties include stocking rooms and obtaining prior authorizations for medications, surgeries, and imaging.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing or medical assistant program with appropriate state licensure or certification (CMA, RMA, LPN, or RN). Current Basic Life Support certification is required, and experience in dermatology or scribing is preferred.
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN/RN for its West Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
