Current and active RN and NP license in the State of Georgia Current Nurse Practitioner Certification through AANP, ANCC, or equivalent accredited organization Current CPR and BLS or PALS certification required Minimum of 6 months Pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience required Candidates must already be licensed and credentialed to practice in Georgia Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills Experience with electronic medical records and e-prescribing systems preferred Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and staff
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric and adolescent patients Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations Order and interpret diagnostic testing as appropriate Prescribe medications and treatment plans according to established clinical guidelines Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care
