Carle Health is actively recruiting for an experienced and dynamic BE/BC Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our growing Orthopaedics team at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

Full-time opportunity Total Joint Replacement (knee and hip) experience or training is required; minimally invasive experience or training preferred Unique opportunity to work in a well-supported, full-service practice - offering the ability to build and shape your practice while making a meaningful impact in a community with high need for orthopaedic care Strong clinical autonomy with experienced support staff dedicated to delivering high-quality care across Southeastern Illinois Predictable 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule designed to support work-life balance, with dedicated time off to recharge or pursue personal interests Opportunity to develop lasting patient relationships and see the direct impact of your care in a close-knit community All surgeries performed at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital (CRMH), a 25-bed Critical Access, DNV-accredited facility with 5 ORs serving 8 Southeastern Illinois counties (population 109,000+) Established outpatient therapy services including home health support, with Swing Bed inpatient rehabilitation available for continuity of care Block surgical time and dedicated clinic hours, all conveniently located on one campus to maximize efficiency Broad surgical case mix supported by hospital services including General Surgery, Oncology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Urology, and Podiatry Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and life insurance, 403(b) with employer match, relocation assistance, CME allowance, and paid malpractice with tail coverage Opportunity for research and/or academic affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana, IL, the nation’s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering Must be willing to live in and actively engage in the community

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $650,000 - $700,000.

This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.

The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.

Requirements

Must be a Board Eligible or Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with required experience or training in total joint replacement. Candidates must be willing to reside in Olney, Illinois, and engage actively with the local community.
