The RN provides professional care to medical oncology patients by implementing nursing processes, developing care plans, and performing clinical interventions. Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and biotherapy across the hospital and maintaining accurate patient documentation.
Candidates must be a Licensed Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois and hold a BLS certification from the American Heart Association. A college diploma in nursing is required.
The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the utilization of the nursing process, nursing trends, technology, financial and human resources within the philosophy of the institution.
