The LPN assists physicians with patient care, surgical procedures, and post-operative follow-ups. They are also responsible for clinic organization, inventory management, and documenting patient progress in EMR systems.
Candidates must have an LPN degree from an accredited school, a state-issued LPN license, and CPR certification. One or more years of recent experience in a medical office is preferred.
Collaborates with surgeons and physician assistants to ensure patient understands surgical procedures and policies and obtains all necessary authorizations and consents. Documents patient progress by taking pre- and post-procedure photographs or 3D-images, and uploads documentation into EMR/EHR and to patient portal Proactively follows up with patients post-operatively Performs suture for post-operative patients as instructed Triages patient calls, documents patient concerns and questions, facilitates appointments, and ensures questions/concerns are addressed in a timely manner Coordinates scheduling of both cosmetic and insurance minor office procedures, and assists surgeons during procedures, if necessary Inventory management- our nursing staff tracks and manages surgical implants, garments, injectables, and clinic supplies. Works with the team to ensure that all treatment rooms are stocked appropriately
