About the role

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered radiation oncology care as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Manage cancer treatments using advanced technology including the Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator.

Portneuf Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our well-established team at Portneuf Cancer Center in Pocatello, Idaho. Our team brings together a broad range of oncology expertise and strong collaborative relationships allowing us to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care close to home. This position is ideal for a physician who is passionate about advancing cancer treatment, committed to meaningful patient impact, and eager to join a forward-thinking, growth-driven practice serving communities across southern Idaho.

About the Position

Join an established oncology group consisting of 2 radiation oncology physicians & 2 medical oncology physicians Clinical support staff includes: 2 Rad Onc RN’s, 4 Radiation Therapists, Dosimetrist, Physicist, in-house oncology certified Pharmacist, Oncology Dietician, Social Worker, Nurse Navigator and many more Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator - TrueBeam installed 2024 with Varian Identify SGRT 12 chemo bays CT onsite QOPI certified 1:3 call, very low burden Tuesday-Friday, 8am to 5pm Close relationship with The Huntsman Cancer Center and University of Utah Hospital Employed Full complement of medical and surgical specialists within the medical group EMR: Epic, Aria & Eclipse Excellent work + life balance Recruitment Package May Include: Base salary + wRVU production incentive CME allowance Sign-on bonus Medical debt assistance + Consultative services by Navigate Student Loans Relocation allowance Residency stipend Paid malpractice coverage Health benefits + Retirement plan Marketing + practice growth assistance
