RN Wound Center - Per diem

Per diem/on call; varies as scheduled.

Job Summary

• Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric populations consistent with training, experience and scope of licensure.
• Actively involved with wound care and infusion therapies.
• Responsible for scheduling and coordinating care for the outpatient services program.
• Performs care necessary for outpatient services program using established nursing processes.
• Maintains accurate record keeping related to care given.
• Responsible for ensuring that up-to-date physician orders and regulatory requirements for services are met.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Assists manager in marketing of program and educating prescribing practitioners as needed.
• Responsible for ensuring appropriate patient charges are entered in a timely manner.

Education and/or Experience Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Valid license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Washington. Previous experience in acute care hospital or outpatient care setting.

Preferred

Experience with wound care.

Licensure & Certifications Requirements

Valid license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Washington. (BLS required; or within three (3) months from date of hire.

Pay Range

$41.63-$77.01
