Provides technical services and assistance in the operating room at an advanced level and in accordance with established procedures, protocols and regulations. Prepares operating rooms for surgery using appropriate techniques. Acts as a resource for Surgical Technologist I and Surgical Technologist II.
Requires a high school diploma, completion of a surgical technologist course, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Must hold certifications as a Surgical Technologist or Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor, along with Basic Life Support certification.
