Provides direct surgical care to patients across all age groups, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety. Responsible for maintaining surgical equipment, preparing OR suites, and managing intraoperative documentation and specimens.
Requires a current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma and BLS certification, with ALS required within the first year. A minimum of one year of operating room experience is preferred.

Professional Requirements Meets dress code standards; adheres to policy regarding surgical attire. Completes annual educational requirements. Maintains regulatory requirements. Assists with materials management and item documentation/auditing. Attends annual in-services and participates in departmental communication. Actively participates in performance improvement. Regulatory Requirements: Must possess and maintain current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in Oklahoma. Current BLS certification required; must be obtained during initial orientation if not current upon hire. Current ALS required or must be obtained during the first year of employment if not current upon hire. Minimum of one-year work experience in the operating room preferred. Previous work history that demonstrates steady attendance and punctuality is required. Language Skills: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred.
