The Medication History Technician gathers medication history from patients in the Emergency Department and collaborates with patients and healthcare providers to ensure accurate medication records. They also participate in training new employees and assist in filling and delivering medications under supervision.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a Virginia Pharmacy Tech License, along with a CPhT License. A minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience is required, with preference given to those with emergency department medication history experience.
