Provide non-clinical support and serve as a recovery role model for adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders. Deliver stage-wise treatment interventions based on the consumer's stage of change within a community treatment team.
Must be a Certified Peer Specialist with lived experience in mental illness or addiction recovery and a high school diploma or GED. Requires a valid driver's license and various background clearances including Act 33, 34, and 73.
Must self-identify as an individual with a serious mental illness, who is currently or formerly was a recipient of mental health services, is in the process of his/her/their recovery and has successfully completed training in illness management recovery interventions.
