Weekend position, Friday 1530- Monday 0700, including holidays- 40 hours salaried on call position. Operating Room experience required.
The Registered Nurse On-Call delivers nursing care on an on-call basis for patients across their life span, and through the nursing process, assesses, plans, implements, and documents the effects of care. Works cooperatively with ancillary, nursing and other patient-team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. These nursing functions of the Registered Nurse are carried out according to the New Jersey/Pennsylvania Nurse Practice Act (based on location), hospital policy, the hospital Mission Statement, and the Philosophy of the Department of Nursing.
Current RN license in the State of New Jersey or Pennsylvania, based on work location.
One year medical/surgical experience preferred. Individualized orientation program for all areas. Evidence of successful completion of BLS.
