GP2 is a 24-bed advanced acute care unit. They provide complex patient care for a wide variety of medical diagnoses that require inpatient care and hospitalization. This includes the need for telemetry and frequent observation. They see patients with pneumonia, COPD, cardiac conditions, renal disorders, GI disorders and sepsis as well as postoperative patients.
GP2 is an ideal unit for those who enjoy a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as a team. GP2 works closely with the emergency room and PACU departments. GP2 offers a valuable experience for those who want to pursue ER work or may have an interest in becoming a critical care nurse in the future.
Schedule is 0.5 fte (20 hours)/Straight days; including every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.
