The nurse is responsible for coordinating patient care in the operating room, including delegating tasks and supervising staff. They also manage post-operative care, patient discharge, and maintain a safe environment by ordering necessary supplies.
Candidates must have an associate degree or diploma and a valid West Virginia nursing license. CPR certification is required, while a bachelor's degree and specialty certification are preferred.
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our Operating Room.
The Registered Professional Nurse - Operating Room is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervision of other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients, and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated. Care for the patient post operative and discharge patient. The person will order supplies and do whatever is necessary to maintain a safe environment for patient care.
The shift will be determined by each hiring manager. The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.
