Carilion Clinic is seeking a motivated and collaborative Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Carilion Cardiology team serving the New River Valley region. This APP will work closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams to provide high-quality cardiovascular care across outpatient and/or inpatient settings.
The ideal candidate is patient-centered, clinically strong, and committed to delivering compassionate cardiovascular care while supporting Carilion Clinic’s mission of improving the health of the communities we serve.

Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Experience: 0
Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP), DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure or Physician Assistant ( PA) required. AHA BLS-HCP certification required. Advanced Life Support certification preferred. Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.
Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers, good written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
$107,993.60 - $172,785.60
Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
