Job Description

• Summary Overview of Unit/Department Acute Care at Cox South Hospital’s main campus is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where therapists make a meaningful impact every day. Working across units like the ICU and medical-surgical floors, you’ll gain diverse experience while continuing to grow your skills. Acute Care is built around a collaborative culture where teamwork is key. It’s a great place to learn, feel supported, and build a rewarding career Job Summary Under the direction and supervision of clinician, performs only delegated, selected, or routine tasks in specific situations. These duties include preparing/cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area. The therapy tech may also transfer and transport patients, prepare them for therapy, and assist clinician as instructed. Job Requirements: Education:
• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience:
• Preferred: Previous experience in the medical field Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
