The Medical Assistant provides clinical support and assists with standardization of procedures while acting as a resource for the clinical team. Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, handling medical records, and mentoring staff.
Candidates must have a specialized diploma in Medical Assisting and at least 2 years of experience in the field. Certifications such as CCMA or CMA are required upon hire.
Specialized Diploma Medical Assistant 2 years Medical Assistant Experience Able to manage and organize medical records. Ability to build comprehensive reports and effectively convey information to others. Skill in planning, organizing, and decision-making. Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, and the public. Knowledge of Windows operating system and programs including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Associate’s Degree Medical Assistant Bilingual Physical Demands Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
