The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood and non-blood specimens from patients of all ages using proper techniques. They also perform laboratory order entry and ensure compliance with safety and procedural guidelines.

Obtains venous blood samples via venipuncture/skin puncture and collects non-blood samples from patients of all ages using proper technique. Accurately performs laboratory order entry into the hospital information system. Performs point-of-care testing in select locations.

A high school diploma is required, with formal education or clinical training from an approved phlebotomy program preferred. Previous phlebotomy experience and/or certification is required, along with a valid driver's license.
