Pacu RN - PRN

ABOUT US

We are a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Largo, FL looking for a PRN PACU RN to join our team.

Duties

• Perform an appropriate post-operative assessment of the patient as indicated by their procedure and physician orders.
• Provide safe, individualized nursing care during the recovery period for each patient.
• Administer medications and perform documentation in accordance with physician orders and clinical policies.
• Provide appropriate discharge education and guidelines to patients and their families.

Requirements

• RN license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Previous PACU experience required.
• Availability of shifts will vary; afternoon and Friday availability is highly desired.

• Effective communication skills with patients and family members.
