The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patients and developing, evaluating, and modifying care plans within the Cardiac Cath Lab. They perform complex patient-care procedures and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates must hold a current Georgia Registered Nurse license and be BLS and ACLS certified through the American Heart Association. Prior experience in Cardiac Care, PACU, or Critical Care is preferred.
A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia. Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or found by the Board to be substantially equivalent to the programs in Georgia. Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years. Prior experience in Cardiac Care preferred or prior PACU, Critical Care. Must be BLS and ACLS certified thru the American Heart Association.
