Connecticut Children's
Performs routine direct patient care and provides environmental and administrative support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Focuses on promoting the health, safety, and comfort of pediatric patients and their families.
Requires a high school diploma and BLS/CPR certification, with Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training required within three months. Preferred qualifications include CNA or EMT certification and previous pediatric experience.
Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, as part of an inpatient/hospital unit, performs a variety of routine direct patient care as well as environmental and administrative support activities to promote the health, safety and comfort of patients and families. All patient care and support activities are completed in accordance with CCMC and unit policies and procedures.
