The RN is responsible for diagnosing and treating human responses to health problems through assessment, planning, and evaluation of nursing care. They coordinate care activities with multidisciplinary teams and manage medical/surgical protocols for patients.
Under general supervision and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential health problems. Assessment: standard of performance: Performs accurate multi-system assessments, including; biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, education needs and discharge planning needs. Previous health care experience. Bachelors degree in nursing or related field. Three (3) plus years of recent experience (must have occurred within the last two (2) years) in Labor and Delivery is preferred. One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years
Requires a nursing degree and a valid RN license in Washington, Oregon, or a Compact license. Candidates must have at least one year of Labor and Delivery experience and certifications in NRP and BLS.
