A Master's degree is required for this position. Candidates must possess clinical assessment skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

This position is responsible for the full life cycle of each referral by receiving, recording, disseminating, and tracking for each referral within the regional market. This position requires the ability to assess referrals and apply clinical judgment to determine the most appropriate facility placement. This position will maintain the referral database by appropriately tracking each referral from receipt to admission into regional facility. Job Duties: Receives and responds to all referral inquires and provides appropriate information to potential patients, their families, and the referral sources. Assesses and provides clinical judgment for the client/referral to the appropriate level of care. Works jointly with Account Managers in communicating with customers and facilities the status of youth referred for admission. Maintains knowledge of admission criteria, treatment services, and clinical programming at each facility. Manages each referral packet and the disposition for all assigned facilities demonstrating every effort to secure a disposition from the facility within one working day of receipt. Communicates the acceptance or denial of the referrals to the appropriate individuals. Facilitates weekly conference calls with regional facilities to review their referral status report to obtain updates on status of referrals as well as current census and scheduled admissions and discharges. Guides facility intake staff on next steps and viability of each referral based on referral trends and communication with referral source/guardian. Gathers and maintains notes of all contacts involving each referral as well as update status of referral in the referral database and generates reports of those contacts to the facility intake staff and regional business development team. Maintains the referral database so that cases are appropriately tracked throughout referral process from receipt of referral to admission.
