Perform diagnostic PET/CT and CT imaging procedures, including the administration of contrast and radiopharmaceuticals. Manage patient data, conduct daily quality control of scanners, and ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology with PET/CT certification and state licensure. Preference is given to candidates with three to five years of experience in nuclear medicine or PET imaging.
Under general supervision, performs diagnostic PET/CT and CT imaging procedures and related functions. Collaborates with Medical Director and Supervisor on technical issues, equipment performance and QA. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or from an AMA accredited program or Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA accredited program and PET/CT certification. Minimum three to five years experience in nuclear medicine and/or previous PET experience preferred. General knowledge of patient scheduling and billing systems. CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure where applicable. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
