The Surgical Technologist functions as a member of the patient care team, under the supervision of the physician, registered nurse and/or the unit director. This position provides technical skills in the role of the surgical scrub during operative procedures.

Candidates must be a graduate of a Surgical Technologist program or have 5 years of scrub technician experience, along with BLS certification. Certification in Surgical Technology and recent operating room experience are preferred.
