Veterinary Technician responsibilities include assisting the Veterinarian with surgeries and procedures, coordinating animal care, and monitoring animal recovery. You will work closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well-being of all of our pet patients. Need at least 2 years of veterinary technician position Cornerstone/IDEXX software used Must be efficient on drawing blood jugular, Cephalic, Saphenous on canines and felines Must be efficient in placing catheters in canines and felines Must be efficient in monitoring surgical patients and recovering patients after surgery Experience in the following is a plus the use of endoscopy, setting up for blood transfusion and monitoring, plasma transfusion, and the use and set up of the critical care synder. Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role Knowledge of animal care and handling Excellent communication skills Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment Patience and a love for animals
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician and proficiency in drawing blood and placing catheters. Experience with Cornerstone/IDEXX software and critical care equipment is highly desired.
