The Registered Nurse acts as a patient advocate, providing continuity of care through systematic assessments and the implementation of goal-directed care plans. They are responsible for managing patient needs across various age groups and collaborating with the healthcare team in a surgical setting.
Candidates must hold a Texas RN license and BLS certification, with ACLS required within three months of hire. A minimum of two years of experience as a staff nurse with specific experience in spines and joints surgical floors is required.
To act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the healthcare team and supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the facility. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing the needs of individual patients including but not limited to adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
