Independently performs registered nurse functions in direct patient care within the operating room. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive, developmentally appropriate care plans for patients and families.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and at least 2 years of experience in an Operating Room. Must hold a current Texas nursing license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
