The Audiologist provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to assess and treat hearing, balance, and communication disorders. They are responsible for prescribing treatments and recommending appropriate referrals for further patient care.
Candidates must hold a Doctorate or Master's degree in Audiology and maintain a valid North Carolina license or temporary privilege license. CPR certification is also required.
Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services by assessing and treating hearing, balance, and communication disorders. Prescribes treatments and recommends referrals to patients for further care as clinically appropriated.
Doctorate in Audiology or a Master's degree in Audiology with continuous active certificate. Requires a North Carolina license as an Audiologist or new graduate privilege license (temporary) in Audiology issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists. For privilege license, full license is expected within one month after completing supervised year of training. Maintain CPR certification required.
