Job Title: Mental Health Technician

Supervised by: Director of Nursing

Job Summary

Performs assigned functions of direct patient care under the direction, instruction, and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Duties include ensuring patient safety, therapeutically interacting with patients, assist patients in activities of daily living, and other routine duties as assigned by the supervising nurse.

Skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong bedside manner.
• Certified in CPR
• Certified in crisis/violence intervention

Language Skills

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.
