Performs patient care duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides care based on the Nurse Practice Act and established hospital standards across all age groups.
Requires graduation from an approved LPN program, a 30-hour IV Therapy course, and a valid Florida LPN license. Must hold a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs patient care duties. The LPN provides care based on the Nurse Practice Act and his/her assessed competency utilizing hospital established standards of care and practice. Assignments are performed appropriately to age and developmental level of patients being served.
