The Technical Laboratory Assistant is responsible for performing phlebotomy procedures, processing specimens, and conducting CLIA-waived testing. They also maintain laboratory equipment and provide clerical and technical support to the department.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, current BLS certification, and at least two years of full-time hospital laboratory experience with phlebotomy. A phlebotomy certification or graduation from a certified program is preferred.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Technical Lab Assistant (TLA) to join our Laboratory Department at our Galion location.
Under supervision of the Laboratory Director or designee, maintains laboratory equipment as necessary, assists in clerical duties of the department, assists technicians and technologists as needed, and is responsible for phlebotomy procedures and processing of other specimens. Additionally, laboratory assistants perform CLIA-waived testing while producing quality results.
