Provides prescribed medications and pharmaceutical products to ensure adequate patient care according to professional standards. Consults with medical staff, health professionals, patients, and families regarding pharmaceutical issues.
Requires a BS Pharm or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy and a valid state licensure. One year of hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
Under general direction, provides prescribed medications and pharmaceutical products for adequate patient care according to professional standards and practices. Advises/consults with medical staff, other health professionals, patients and families on pharmaceutical and patient care issues.
Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with BS Pharm or PharmD Degree. Completion of pharmacy internship and holds state licensure.
