About the role

Plans and carries out CT area activities, including performing CT procedures and maintaining equipment records. Responsible for QA/QC programs and ensuring high-quality patient care across various age groups.

$5,000 Sign On Bonus - External Hires Only Plans, coordinates, supervises, and carries out the activities of the CT area. Work is carried out in an independent, professional manner with minimal supervision.

Education Technical or Vocational school plus up to 2 years specialty training

Experience One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

Licenses & Certifications *Healthcare Provider (CPR) within 30 days from hire. *Radiologic Technologist

Qualifications

*Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiological Technology program. *One year experience required in CT field. *Registered Technologist. *CT Registry must be completed within one year of hire.

Qualifications

Area of Responsibilities *Demonstrates competency in patient care according to the age of the patient and population served. *Perform CT procedures. *Responsible for CT maintenance on equipment including proper records. *Responsible for individual continuing education to maintain registry. *Responsible for QA/QC programs. *And other related duties. *Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development. *Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient's needs. *Demonstrates understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients (age and diagnosis). *Responsible for CQI related duties. *Responsible for maintenance of proper patient records.

Compliance Statement Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program. Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline.

Solutions to problems often require coordination with other departments.

Physical Effort Considerable physical effort - Lifts, carries, or handles medium weight equipment, materials, or supplies most of day. Occasional physical effort with heavy objects (over 60 lbs.). Works in reaching or strained positions frequently.

Working Conditions Considerable - (About 75% of the day) Involved in exposure to dirt, odors, noise, or some work is performed with exposure to temperature/weather extremes/occupational risk and probability of coming into contact with blood borne pathogens, other potentially infectious diseases, or biomedical/bio-hazardous materials.
