The Lab Assistant performs phlebotomy on adult, neonatal, and pediatric patients while ensuring accurate specimen labeling and processing. They are also responsible for maintaining lab equipment, managing supplies, and utilizing computer systems for test orders.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and a CPR/Basic Life Support certification. Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to maintain high accuracy under pressure are required.

Job Summary The Lab Assistant is responsible for supporting laboratory operations by performing phlebotomy on patients, maintaining lab equipment, processing of specimens, performing tests and quality control, and ensuring the lab safety protocols are followed. This role reports to the lab leader.
