The CNA is responsible for recording and charting patient vital signs and reminding patients to take medications and nutritional supplements. They also ensure precise record-keeping and provide general nursing support to residents.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have successfully completed a state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course. An active and clear Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in the state of practice is required.
