The Medical Assistant provides clinical care to patients of all ages and assists physicians with medical emergencies and in-office surgical procedures. They are responsible for obtaining vital signs, performing various diagnostic tests, and maintaining patient records in the EMR.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and BLS certification, with a preference for graduates of accredited Medical Assistant programs. Prior experience in a medical setting and the ability to handle confidential information professionally are required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record.
