The CT Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images of human anatomy and vascular structures following prescribed protocols. They must ensure radiation safety for patients and staff while maintaining equipment and exam rooms in a safe condition.
Candidates must be a high school graduate with a diploma from a certified radiologic technology school and hold an active ARRT(CT) license. A minimum of one year of experience as a registered CT Technologist and current BLS/CPR certification are required.
Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors this April as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years! High School Graduate or equivalent. Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification through the American Heart Association. Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)(CT) license. Minimum one-year experience as a registered Computed Tomography Technologist required, acute care experience preferred.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) and Title 22 standards and guidelines. Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times. Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public. Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
