Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or NP) Build Something Meaningful.

Practice with Purpose.

At Mile Bluff Medical Center, people come first - our patients, our providers, and our teams.

As an independent, community-based healthcare organization, we believe healthcare decisions should stay local, allowing our providers to have a stronger voice, greater collaboration, and the ability to make a real impact.

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is energized by relationship-building, teamwork, and the opportunity to help shape the future of orthopedic care in a rural community that deeply values access to specialty services.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out: No call responsibilities No weekend coverage Balanced mix of clinic and surgical experience Direct partnership model with the orthopedic surgeon Opportunity to help grow and influence the orthopedic service line Supportive, team-oriented culture with strong provider collaboration Independence to bring ideas forward and help shape workflows and patient experience Practice where your voice matters and your contributions are visible This role is ideal for someone looking for more than a traditional APP position - someone who wants to become part of a collaborative orthopedic program with the ability to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact on patients and the community.

Market context

Wisconsin advanced-practice roles stay competitive

Advanced-practice roles in Wisconsin are typically in demand across primary care, specialty care, and hospital settings, especially where employers need licensed NPs and PAs who can step in quickly. These roles are competitive because employers often look for an accredited graduate degree, active Wisconsin licensure, board certification, and a DEA license; benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, paid parental leave, and dental coverage can also factor into decisions. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your credential status and certification area before applying.
