Responsible and accountable for a group of patients during a designated time frame and to provide care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Supervises the activities of Respiratory Therapists, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Unit Assistants.
Basic computer skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.

Successfully completed Board Certified Nursing Program is required, with an Associate Degree preferred. Current LA RN licensure and various certifications such as BLS, ALS, and PALS are also required.
