Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider, or registered nurse. This role adheres to established guidelines and standards.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program. One year of medical assistant or related clinical experience is required in lieu of formal education.
