Provide advanced clinical support and perform specialized diagnostic imaging such as OCT and visual fields. Assist ophthalmologists with in-office surgical procedures and manage efficient patient flow within the clinic.
Requires a high school diploma and 2-3 years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician, preferably with COA or COT certification. Proficiency in EHR software and advanced ophthalmic equipment is essential.
Active Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) designation by IJCAHPO is highly preferred.
Ability to occasionally travel to our nearby sister clinics within the local region as needed.
