Job Overview Seeking a full time Certified Orthotic Assistant or Certified Prosthetic/Orthotic Assistant for our location in Woodbury, Minnesota.
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties clinic.
The pay range for this position is $26.61 hourly to $39.91 hourly.
Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity.
Responsibilities
The Certified Orthotic or Prosthetic/Orthotic Assistant is responsible for the measurement, casting, CAD modification, fabrication and fitting of devices under the direct supervision of an ABC Certified Practitioner. Additionally, they are responsible for the timely and compliant patient documentation utilizing OPIE EMR system and supporting front office staff. The Certified Prosthetic/Orthotic Assistant is responsible to monitor their WIP, device repairs, assist other clinical staff and direct the technical staff in fabrication of specific devices following an organized and orderly work flow with reasonable delivery dates to patients.
