RN Extended Hours (FT)

The RN Extended Hours Essential Duties Are

• Plans and delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patients, families, and other interdisciplinary team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
• What You Should Know About the RN Extended Hours Role:
• This is a DRIVING position throughout Wooster
• This is a Full-Time NIGHT'S role, with the hours of 8PM-8AM. Also includes 2 holidays per year.
• We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end-of-life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed. RN Extended Hours Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio without any board actions. Two years acute care nursing experience preferred.
• CPR Certified
• Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred and will be made available to Ohio's Hospice employees who wish to obtain certification.
• Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime, or inclement weather.
• Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
• State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen
