Perform clinical assessments and provide individual, group, and family counseling services for employees and their families. Manage treatment planning, referrals, and critical incident debriefing while documenting all clinical activities.
Requires a valid license as an LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist and at least five years of post-graduate experience in a mental health or hospital setting. Experience in crisis intervention and brief therapy is preferred.
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist required in the state where practicing. Five years post-graduate experience in a related mental health setting or hospital required. Experience in crisis intervention and brief therapy techniques preferred. Additional professional certifications (e.g., CAC, EMDR etc.) preferred. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups. Conducts triage assessments of clients and help the client identify desired outcomes. Counsel patients and families regarding recommended levels of care and community resources Documents activities accurately and timely to assure proper billing and productivity statistics. Accurate documentation includes clinical description, referral sources, demographic information, financial/insurance information and follow-up requirements. Leads critical incident debriefing groups as needed. Participates in the on-call rotation to meet the needs of service line external contracts. Works evening hours when required. Writes mental health articles for quarterly newsletter. Participates as an active member of the department team to create and deliver client education projects.
