The nurse is responsible for interviewing patients, documenting medical conditions in EMR, and assisting physicians with examinations. Additional duties include managing lipids and protimes, performing phone triage, and maintaining critical medical equipment.
Interview’s patients to determine medical problem/condition and documents in chart (EMR) for physician, when necessary obtains and records patient’s vital signs including weight and assists physician with patient examination as needed and explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding and allay apprehension, maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs, manages lipids, protimes and phone triage of patient concerns.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school and hold a valid RN license and BLS certification. Three years of RN experience and a BSN are preferred.
