The Stress Technician administers cardiovascular diagnostic tests including ECGs and NICOM while providing direct patient care. They are also responsible for equipment maintenance, inventory control, and patient transportation.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 0-1 year of experience. BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required within 30 days of hire.
The Stress Technician performs direct patient care and indirect patient care tasks as assigned. In this role the individual routinely administers cardiovascular diagnostic testing as order by physician in assigned areas: ECG, NICOM, amongst others.
Post-Employment: Phlebotomy competency required for Out Patient Laboratory. Experience Requirements 0 -1 year Stress Technician Certificates/Licenses/Registration Certification provided by the American Heart Association (AHA): Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Post-Employment: BLS and ACLS, provided by the American Heart Association (AHA), required within 30 days of hire.
