The RN manages individualized patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of treatment plans in a critical care environment. Responsibilities include administering medications, operating critical care equipment, and providing health education to patients and families.
Candidates must hold an Associate degree in nursing and a valid Florida RN license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process. The RN provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, evaluation, and patient health education within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
