Provides respite services, emotional support, and compassionate care to hospice patients and their families. Collaborates with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and performs various patient-related administrative and direct care tasks.
High school diploma or GED is preferred, and candidates must complete a Hospice training program. Previous experience in volunteering or bereavement care is desired.
Educational/Degree: High school graduate or GED, preferred. Training/Licensure: Completes Hospice training program. Knowledge/Skills/Ability: Willingness to work as a Hospice team member. Demonstrated knowledge and well-developed communication skills. Able to work on a per diem schedule.
Previous experience with volunteering, grief and/or bereavement, preferred.
