Personal Care Assistant

Earn $17.33/hour or $19.33/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay option, plus shift differentials.

Paid Training

Required training will take place during daytime hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) within the first 1–2 weeks.

Position Details

Our Personal Care Assistants are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents in an 8-bed Personal Care Home (PCH). This role supports residents’ mental health and physical well-being through direct care and supervision. They carry out daily care responsibilities while actively participating in and following individualized treatment plans for residents diagnosed with mental health disorders.

• Key Responsibilities
• Help develop and implement activities and other special projects designed to strengthen independent and community living skills and socialization/leisure time.
• Build on strengths to promote positive growth for the consumer.
• Engage consumers in appropriate life skills to develop abilities to live as independently as possible.
• Accompany consumers on trips outside the home for treatment, medical appointments, or activities.
• Provide transportation using a company vehicle as necessary.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• An active, valid driver's license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
